Hi, I’m Dillon.

I’m Dillon Borkhatria, a Product Designer exploring the space between people, technology and physical products.

My work sits across UX, interaction and product design, with a background in 3D modelling, visual design and web design. I enjoy taking ambiguous problems, understanding the people behind them and turning them into experiences that feel clear, useful and considered.

I’m currently completing my Product Design degree while freelancing with businesses and startups, teaching design and STEM subjects, and building things simply because I’m curious about how they work.

HOW I THINK

I don’t start with the solution.

I start by understanding what is happening, who it affects and why it matters. From there, I explore possibilities, prototype early and use feedback to turn assumptions into better decisions.

Contributed UX, website and visual design work to an early-stage clothing brand, including website concepts and digital mockups. A completed project rather than ongoing employment.

BEYOND THE SCREEN

I don’t want to be a designer who only thinks in screens.

Although my career is moving toward UX and Product Design, my background in 3D, physical product design, branding and visual design continues to influence how I approach digital experiences.

Design doesn’t only happen at a desk.
